The mountains, the forest, the quiet. Here in the Erzgebirge you'll still find true relaxation. No fuss, no schedule that rushes you along. Set off on a hike whenever you feel like it. Swim a few lengths in the pool. Or simply sit out on the terrace and gaze across the landscape.

We'll take care of the rest. Breakfast is ready and waiting, dinner is regional and honest. And by the time you arrive, the coffee is already brewed.

Our kitchen team has been cooking for you for 30 years. Erzgebirge specialities, hearty home cooking and whatever the season brings. A generous breakfast buffet in the morning. Three filling courses in the evening.

In summer out on the terrace with views over the greenery. In winter in the cosy conservatory. And every Friday we invite you to our themed evenings: culinary journeys around the world, prepared by our apprentices.

Warmth for weary hikers

After a day in the mountains, there's nothing better. Our indoor pool measures 6 by 10 metres – just right for a few relaxed lengths. The sauna area awaits with a Finnish sauna and a bio sauna. A relaxation room with loungers, for when all you want to do afterwards is doze.

No wellness temple with a programme and a timetable. Simply come, swim, sweat, unwind. Towels are available at reception for a small fee.

The Erzgebirge on your doorstep

Hiking trails start right at the hotel. The Fichtelberg is 20 kilometres away. Schwarzenberg, with its castle and old town, just 5 kilometres. In winter, cross-country trails right outside the door and ski slopes nearby.

The Erzgebirge is a low mountain range with nothing to hide. Fewer crowds than in the Alps, but every bit as beautiful. And the Christmas season up here is something special. Räuchermännchen, Schwibbögen and genuine craftsmanship.
