Your room is available from 15:00 on your day of arrival and until 10:00 on your day of departure.

If you would like to stay longer, please speak to reception: until 15:00 we charge half the room rate, after that the full rate.

Our reception is open daily from 07:00 to 17:00 – in-house you can reach it by dialling 9.

If you are leaving before 07:00, please settle your bill the day before. The main entrance is open until 22:00; after that, your room key card opens the side entrance at the back of the hotel.

You can pay your bill on your day of arrival or departure – in cash, by EC card/Maestro, Mastercard or Visa.

On request, we will gladly bring your luggage to your room. Simply ask our team at reception.

The hotel's outdoor car park and the spaces next to the tennis courts are available to you for 5,00 € per night.

Please do not park in the car park of the “Residenz” apartment building below the hotel car park – vehicles there will be towed.

Below the hotel you will find the mini golf course and tennis courts – free of charge for hotel guests and open daily, weather permitting. Rackets and balls are available at reception.

An extra pillow, more towels or an ironing board? Simply call reception on 9 – we will take care of it.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. At reception you will also find a tablet with printing facilities.

For outside calls, please dial 0 first. You can be reached directly in your room at +49 3774 131- followed by your room number.

Reception will gladly note your preferred wake-up time – just dial 9.

Hand in your laundry at reception by 09:00 – on request, you will have it back the same day. We are happy to bring an ironing board and iron to your room, and we also offer a sewing service.

We will gladly lock away money and valuables for you in the safe at reception.

Your four-legged friends are very welcome. We charge 15,00 € per pet per day (food not included).

Please do not let your pet onto the sofa or bed – otherwise we will have to charge a final cleaning fee of 25,00 €. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted in the restaurant or the wellness area.

All rooms are non-smoking. If smoking takes place in the room, we charge a final cleaning fee of 120,00 €.

Please familiarise yourself with the stairs, emergency exits, fire alarms and extinguishers – the escape plan is on the inside of your room door.

In case of fire: stay calm, follow the staff's instructions and report the fire immediately by dialling 9. If the escape route is filled with smoke, stay in your room with the door closed and draw attention to yourself at the window.

Please do not use your own cooking or heating appliances.

We will gladly take your holiday postcards – the post is collected daily. We are also happy to make copies for you.

We will gladly arrange any flower arrangement you would like.

In our display cabinet at reception you will find Ore Mountain folk art and carvings by Schwarzenberg master woodcarver Hartmut Rademann – such as the “Original Schwarzenberger Drachen”.

Restaurant (100 seats), bistro with bar, fireplace room (22 seats), conservatory (45 seats) and a modern meeting room (25–30 seats) – we will be happy to advise you on celebrations and events of all kinds.

The nearest railway stations are Schwarzenberg and Erla – we will gladly give you the current timetable.

From 1920 onwards, workers and smallholders from Bermsgrün put in thousands of hours of voluntary labour at the “Hoher Hahn”, building a sports ground and, in 1932, the “Arbeiterheim” (workers' hall) with a hall for 700 people. After eventful decades – including a period as a convalescent home – the listed building was converted in just eleven months in 1992 into the conference and holiday hotel “Am Hohen Hahn”. A room extension, tennis courts and mini golf followed (1993), then the indoor pool and sauna (1998) and the wellness area (2004). Since 1 July 2011, the hotel has been part of the Sonnenhotels holiday hotel group as Sonnenhotel Hoher Hahn.
